Viral Preparation-Not Panic
Our mania is worse than the actual disease. Instead of panicking, let us put our thinking caps on to figure out the actions that are within our power to accomplish. Knowing this microbe is a virus is an important point. We have been exposed to viruses essentially forever. It makes sense that the same protocols that we have always recommended for viruses would help. It is just more important than ever to actually put them into practice. Nutrition, vitamins, herbs, rest, and barriers have a long standing ability to support good health. Before diving into those specific areas, I want to address the real problems facing this current pandemic. With all the hype about the CoronaVirus, at the end of the day, it is just still a virus. Best DIY Christmas Gift: Easy Mug Treats
Christmas gifts can be so fun to make. But some people are just really difficult to buy meaningful gifts for at a price point that fits into the Christmas budget. My sister actually came up with this idea. She was looking for single recipes that her teens could make themselves without destroying the kitchen. What a great idea! I started thinking of the possibilities: college dorm rooms, after school snacks, even moms that are on different diets than their families… endless possibilities for a holistic nutritionist. Her family of course eats differently than mine. This is the beauty and problem of this gift. I can’t test the gluten-filled recipes, so I had a friend check them out, two thumbs-up from her kids.
